Our search for the perfect location took us across Portugal, but the region surrounding Óbidos and Caldas da Rainha offered the balance we had been looking for. Here, historic towns, authentic Portuguese life, Atlantic beaches, peaceful countryside and excellent local food all come together. It felt relaxed and welcoming without being isolated and it simply felt right.

Casa Oppidum | Silver Coast Holiday Home Near Óbidos comfortably accommodates up to six guests and offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private heated swimming pool, a landscaped garden and a sunny terrace with beautiful views towards Óbidos Castle. Inside, you will find comfortable living spaces, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing anything from a relaxed breakfast to a family dinner with fresh ingredients from a local market. Two private parking spaces and paid electric vehicle charging are also available on-site.

The house provides an ideal base for exploring Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, Foz do Arelho, the Óbidos Lagoon, São Martinho do Porto, Nazaré, Peniche and the many beaches of the Silver Coast. Spend your days surfing, swimming, walking beside the lagoon, visiting vineyards, exploring medieval streets or enjoying fresh seafood by the Atlantic.

When the day is over, return to the privacy of your own peaceful retreat. Swim in the pool, enjoy a glass of Portuguese wine in the garden or simply slow down and take in the view.
